By Liz Haywood-Sullivan
Paint Realistic Landscapes: Mixing Greens

In this workshop Liz uses exercises to introduce you to the properties of color, focusing on temperature, value and how surface color and layering techniques can be used to create a wide variety of greens. She then completes a landscape painting from start to finish to demonstrate these principles in action and show how to simplify the complicated masses of a green landscape into a well-composed, beautiful finished painting.
