Marvel Adams has been creating beautiful watercolors in her Fairfax, VA studio since 1978. Much of her work is the creative result of living most of her life in Wisconsin. Marvel's love of nature is reflected in her lovely colorful florals and misty snow-covered landscapes. The Great Blue Heron is a particular favorite of hers and she beautifully brings to life his regal yet sly personality in several of her paintings.

An extensive traveler, Marvel has visited many gardens and wildlife preserves throughout the US, Canada and Europe, capturing both flora and fauna in a distinctive style that treats the viewer to a feeling of tranquillity.

Marvel has studied with many instructors in the Washington Metro area and throughout the US. She has received numerous awards and exhibits her work in many galleries and public shows. You will also find Marvel's work in corporate and private collections around the world
