I have been
painting for about 30 years. I was first inspired at a very young
age regarding pictorial designs, but this desire was not fulfilled
until many years later. I studied interior design at National Art
Academy of Washington, D.C., and received a BFA degree there. The
classes included drawing perspectives and rendering interiors,
furniture, fabrics, wood, and marble in watercolor. I attended
classes in watercolor for three years at the Art League School of
Old Town Alexandria, and studied oil
painting at the Creative Brush Studio in Manassas, VA. The other
training I received was from several workshops, and studying works
of others in galleries and art books.
