Thomas Kollins works in Charcoal, Watercolor and Acrylics.

Primary subject matter is portraiture, the human figure, industrial scenes, and landscapes.

Tom’s goal is to interpret a scene, not record what exists. Mood, atmosphere, and emotion are his real subjects.

While traveling on business, Tom found art was a good way to spend the many hours spent in hotel rooms.  Also, sketching while on vacations helped him to see, and better enjoy the various sights.
