Diane McClaugherty graduated cum laude from James Madison and taught
art for 31 years in the Alexandria City Public Schools. The last 18
years were at T.C. Williams H.S. She retired to pursue her own
artwork and is busy in all areas of painting--portraits, landscapes,
still life. She has taken classes at the Torpedo Factory with
numerous water color artists and portraiture(oil) with Robert
Liberace and Danni Dawson. She painted the interior Moulin Rouge
mural at Chez Andree restaurant in Alexandria. She is a member of
the Torpedo Factory Art League, Del Ray Artisans, SAG and pursues her
love of painting from nature with the Mid Atlantic En Plein Air
Association.
Diane accepts commissions and regularly has work in area shows. |
