My experience with oils began when I attended Monterey Art School in California and tutored with several well-known teaching artists in the Carmel area, and I continued my art education at Jacksonville University.  I am a member of the Springfield Art Guild, the Arts Council of Fairfax County, and Falls Church Arts.  Works of mine have shown at Gallery Without Walls, Art in the Workplace, the Fairfax Government Center, numerous regional libraries, and I have had two shows.

My style is Impressionism with a modern edge; my approach is driven by color.  My works are principally landscapes, seascapes, and street scenes; however, I have recently enjoyed doing pet portraits.  If you would like to have an original portrait of your beloved pet done in oil, on canvas, ready to be framed and enjoyed in your home, please contact me.
